Good afternoon Residents and Families,

I am writing to share that this morning we learned that a member of our housekeeping team has tested positive for COVID-19. This employee mainly works in the Healthcare Center and has not been on campus since November 5th. While it has been a while since the employee had any contact with others on our campus, we want to be fully transparent with each situation. Today we began immediate contact tracing and will be testing as needed. Because we test very often, we are confident that there has been no exposure due to this situation.

As we have previously shared, we will continue to follow the “Criteria for Return to Work for Health Care Personnel with Confirmed or Suspected COVID-19” guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Thank you for your continued patience, trust, and understanding. And I want to remind you how important it is to social distance, wear your masks, and wash your hands frequently. Let us be as cautious now as we have been all along so that together we can minimize the number of people affected by this terrible virus.

Do not hesitate to call me should you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
