Good afternoon Seacrest Residents and Families,
Today we learned that one of our nurses in the Dorothy & Joseph Goldberg Healthcare Center (skilled nursing) has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The employee’s last day worked was May 15. Unfortunately, this employee is symptomatic, and we know you join us in wishing this individual a full recovery. We are conducting contact tracing and will continue to follow the CDC Return to Work Guidelines and report this information to all mandated agencies.
Positive COVID-19 cases are on the rise in San Diego, the state, and the country, and we hope you will continue to wear masks when on campus and out in public.
We continue to test all visitors to Seacrest, which has proven very beneficial as a couple of visitors have tested positive before they had contact with our residents. Please stay safe and don’t hesitate to contact your building director if you have questions.
