Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

July 24, 2020

Dear Seacrest Residents, Families and Associates,

I hope this finds you well. I am pleased to report that after our July testing of all residents and staff we have no known cases of COVID-19 on our campus!
The one resident who tested positive and was in isolation for 14 days has been cleared in accordance with the County Guidelines.

While this is great news, we must continue to be mindful of what is happening in San Diego County and around the country. The County reports a decrease in the number of cases yet an increase in the number of deaths. We know our residents are vulnerable and will continue to do all we can to keep them and our employees safe. We ask that residents continue to refrain from leaving the campus, and that families not come onto our property unless dropping off packages at our main entrance. Many residents have complained that not everyone is adhering to our visiting protocols which they find very upsetting. They know, like we do, that if everyone does their part, we have a greater chance of keeping COVID out of Seacrest.

I would like to end by thanking the Leichtag Foundation, Robin and Leo Eisenberg and the Cushman family for supporting our new monthly recognition program that sends a Shabbat dinner home with each of our incredible Seacrest and Seacrest at Home staff to share with their families. Needless to say, this program has been extremely well received! If you or someone you know would like to provide one of these monthly meals prepared by our wonderful Culinary team, please contact Robin Israel at risrael@seacrestfoundation.org or by calling 760-271-1351 to speak with her directly.

August begins a new month of testing and we will continue to apprise you of any new developments. As always, please don’t hesitate to call if you have questions.

Stay well everyone and Shabbat Shalom,

President and CEO
