Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

July 11, 2022

Good afternoon, Residents and Families,

Today we learned that five additional staff members have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. They include a Seacrest at Home caregiver, who serves one of our independent living residents and last worked July 8, a team member who works in Building Services and who last worked July 8, and three additional people who work in our Culinary Department. Those individuals last worked July 8, July 10, and July 11, respectively. One culinary team member works as a server in Independent Living, one works as a server in Assisted Living, and one works in the kitchen. Unfortunately, all team members are symptomatic, and we know you join us in wishing them full and speedy recoveries.

Contact tracing began immediately, and those exposed were notified. We continue to report all positive cases to the applicable regulatory agencies and follow the CDC guidelines regarding staff returning to work.

We know the latest variants are extremely contagious and ask that you wear your masks whenever possible, especially when inside public spaces. We appreciate your ongoing patience. Please be careful, and do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions.

Most sincerely,

Pam Ferris
