I hope this finds you all well and managing as best as possible. I also hope that you are enjoying our beautiful weather for which I know so many of us are most grateful. It certainly helps our residents and staff to be able to go out for walks and visit with one another on the beautiful Seacrest campus. We have several beautiful gardens, and, if you haven’t seen the most recent, I welcome you to visit The Stephen J. Cohen Memorial Garden which is new to Annette’s Village Square.
Today we learned that three members of our team have tested positive for the COVID-19 Virus. The first employee works in The Katzin Residence and last worked on January 18, 2022. This employee is unfortunately experiencing symptoms. The second employee is a member of the Rehabilitation Department and was last on campus on January 14, 2022, and is also experiencing symptoms. The third member of our team works in culinary and was last on campus January 17, 2022. This employee is currently asymptomatic; we hope it remains as such. We have conducted contact tracing and notified anyone who may have been exposed. We have also contacted all mandated agencies. We continue to follow CDC guidelines for returning to work.
Please join me in sending our beloved team members, and all others recovering from COVID-19, healing thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery.
As you know, things are changing day by day and we are staying on top of each new development and recommendation that is being made by authorities. Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our residents and staff.
As always, we thank you for your continued support and trust.
PS: Thank you to those who have supported our COVID HEROES FUND. If you would like to support the staff at this time, you may contribute on our website at www.seacrestfoundation.org or simply mail your gift to Seacrest Foundation and designate COVID-19.
