Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

January 17, 2021

Dear Seacrest Residents, Family Members, and Associates,

We learned this morning that a nurse in our Goldberg Healthcare Center tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. This employee has not worked since January 2, 2021.

We realize that our letters and calls have been almost daily and it may be difficult for you. Please know that we feel a tremendous responsibility to keep you informed. All staff remain in Personal Protective Equipment as required and we are doing everything we can to mitigate the spread of this virus.

As we have previously shared, we will continue to follow the “Criteria for Return to Work for Health Care Personnel with Confirmed or Suspected COVID-19” guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We hope to have more information later this week on the status of the vaccine for our Assisted Living (AL) and Independent Living (IL) residents. We ask for your patience, and want you to know that we are working with CVS Health and the County of San Diego to determine when and how this will move forward. We promise to keep you informed as we know more.

If you need anything or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We know how difficult this is, yet remain confident we will get through this together.

Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
