Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

January 12, 2022

Dear Residents and Family Members,

Today we learned that two employees have tested positive for COVID-19. We have conducted contact tracing and notified anyone who may have been exposed. We have also contacted all mandated agencies. We continue to follow CDC guidelines for returning to work. Unfortunately, both employees are symptomatic. One employee is a member of the culinary team with responsibilities in the Goldberg Healthcare Center. This employee last worked today, January 12, 2022. The other employee is a Seacrest at Home caregiver who last saw a client outside of Seacrest Village on January 7, 2022.

Please join me in sending our beloved team members healing thoughts for a speedy recovery.

It is more important than ever that we continue to do our best to support one another by following the recommendations set forth by the CDC:

  • Wear appropriate masks and other forms of PPE as needed
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Wash hands for 20 seconds with soap and water and use hand sanitizer
  • Social Distance
  • Self-isolate if you have any symptoms and residents, please notify your building director immediately
  • Seek medical assistance as necessary

While we do not know the strain of COVID-19 that is so prevalent on our campus, please know that we are taking every step to mitigate the spread. We want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can, and we are confident in our actions.

As you know, things are changing day by day and we are staying on top of each new development and recommendation that is being made by authorities. Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our residents and staff.

I also want to thank those of you who have supported our COVID HEROES FUND. The staff loved the lunches today and were so grateful! You can also contribute on our website at www.seacrestfoundation.org or simply mail your gift to Seacrest Foundation and designate COVID-19.

Thank you for your continued support and trust.
