Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

February 2, 2021

Dear Seacrest Residents, Family Members, and Associates,

This morning we learned that one of the caregivers from Accent Health Care has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. This contractor was last on campus Saturday, January 30th in our Leichtag Assisted Living Residence, and only serviced one resident. We are contact tracing and will notify you if you have been exposed.

We are all very happy about the vaccine, yet please understand that just because we are vaccinated does not mean that we cannot get or give the virus to others. We must all continue our precautions as San Diego is still in a high tier of risk.

Residents, we cannot stress enough the need to wear masks when outside of your apartment. In addition, please always maintain a physical distance of six feet or more, and open your apartment door with your mask on.

We still request that residents not leave the campus other than for medical appointments. Each time we take an unnecessary risk we put ourselves and others at risk. Our campus has had its share of difficulty in the past many weeks, and with the second shot of the vaccine just around the corner, we need everyone to stay well!

We are hopeful that things are improving though now is not the time to let our guard down.  Be safe everyone.

Please do not hesitate to contact your building director if you need anything.

Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
