Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

December 27, 2020

Good afternoon Seacrest Residents and Family Members,

We hope this letter finds you all well. Today we learned that another one of our Assisted Living caregivers has now tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. This employee was last on campus on December 22, 2020. Thankfully this staff person served the same residents about whom we most recently reported, and who are already in quarantine. Please be assured our same efforts continue, regarding contact tracing and testing.

We are just as upset by each new case as you are and we know you continue to join us in wishing our employees a quick and full recovery. Contact tracing has been conducted and those who were exposed will be contacted.

As we have previously shared, we will continue to follow the “Criteria for Return to Work for Health Care Personnel with Confirmed or Suspected COVID-19” guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We look forward enthusiastically to December 30 when CVS will be administering the vaccine to our Skilled Nursing residents and our staff. The date confirmed for the second shot is January 20, 2021. We are awaiting information regarding our other Seacrest buildings.

As you can imagine, because you know us well, we are lobbying and doing everything possible to get the vaccine to all of our residents as soon as possible. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your building manager. We are all here and available to you.
