Dear Residents and Families,

I must begin by wishing you all a Happy Passover. I hope that your seders were beautiful and memorable.

Today, through scheduled testing, we learned that a resident in our Goldberg Healthcare Center has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Our resident is fortunately asymptomatic and in a private room for careful monitoring. We have begun contact tracing and will notify anyone who may have been exposed. We have also contacted all mandated agencies. Unfortunately, this means that we must put a hold on all visits to the Goldberg Healthcare Center until all staff and residents have been tested. We appreciate your understanding and, as we have said before, we will continue to do whatever we can to protect our residents and staff.

I want to remind everyone that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has authorized a second booster dose for either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna Covid-19 vaccines for anyone over the age of 50, as well as certain immunocompromised individuals.

As always, if you have any questions, please contact your building director. While things are heading in the right direction, we must all remain vigilant so that we can protect one another.

Most Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
