Dear Seacrest Residents, Families and Associates,

I am pleased to share that since our communication of August 27th when we explained a series of tests would occur with our Independent Living residents in the 14 days following exposure to COVID-19 by one of our servers, all residents in Independent Living have twice tested negative for COVID-19! In addition, all staff exposed by this server who work in the Culinary Department have also tested negative for COVID-19. 

Other great news is that our beauty salons will re-open Tuesday September 9th. The Katzin residents will be served on Mondays, Goldberg Healthcare residents on Tuesdays, AL Living residents on Wednesdays and IL residents on Thursdays and Fridays. Seacrest will schedule appointments in collaboration with the Building Directors. If you have questions, please contact Marisa Rosenberg at mrosenberg@seacrestvillage.org or call 760-516-2025.

Lastly, as the Presidential election is upon us, many have questioned how our residents’ ballots will be handled. Please know that those who are registered should receive absentee ballots by mail in early October. If you aren’t sure if you are registered, please go to www.sdvote.com. or feel free to ask your building director for assistance. We encourage all residents to vote! To assure all our residents’ ballots are received timely, a Seacrest staff member will collect all ballots and securely deliver them to the polling place closest to Seacrest Village.
