Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

September 18, 2020

Dear Residents and Families,

I’m pleased to report that we currently have no known COVID-19 cases on our campus. Our routine testing continues and all test results for both residents and staff who were most recently tested, have been negative. We firmly believe the use of masks and other personal protective equipment have been the best and most effective way to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

Though we still discourage residents from leaving the campus, we do hope those who do, will adhere to the Seacrest pledge, the same pledge we expect of our associates. This means to avoid being in large crowds, (especially restaurants, which new reports indicate this is not as safe as it appears, even with social distancing) always wear a mask, wash hands frequently and continue social distancing. If anyone experiences symptoms, contact your health care professional and building director immediately, and self-isolate.

Our social distancing family visits recently resumed after we had suspended them when the County’s number of positive cases increased. Our beauty shop, fitness center and pool are available now to residents too. As you can imagine, these programs, in addition to the family visits, have provided our residents a greater sense of normalcy. There is no question these past several months have been extremely challenging, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to do our best to keep our residents and staff safe from COVID-19.

As we approach the High Holy Days, we want you to know you are more than welcome to join us for the many services scheduled. To view schedules and services, please visit: www.seacrestvillage.org/HighHolyDays.

On behalf of our Seacrest Family, I want to wish each of you and your families a New Year filled with good health, happiness and peace.
