Good afternoon, Residents and Families,

First, we apologize for sending a communication today on Yom Kippur, although we feel it is important to consistently keep our community informed of any new COVID-19 cases. We did not send a voice call in observance of this holy day, although letters are being delivered to residents, so they are also informed, along with those in our email data base. All letters are also posted to our website under COVID-19 updates.

Today we learned that a resident in our Independent Living building has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.  The resident is currently in isolation. Contact tracing has taken place and those exposed have been notified. Further, we continue to follow the CDC Guidelines and report this information to all mandated agencies.

If you have a visit planned to any of our buildings on campus and are not feeling well, please postpone your visit and be sure to take a COVID test. We must do everything possible to keep our residents and staff safe, so please wear a mask around others and please take a rapid test upon arrival to visit your loved one.

Residents, if you have any symptoms, concerns, or questions, please contact our staff at any time. If you don’t feel well, please request a rapid test and stay safe.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. G’mar Chatima Tova, and to those who fasted, we hope you had an easy fast.

Best regards,
