Good afternoon, Residents and Families,

Today we learned that an employee in our Goldberg Healthcare Center has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The employee’s last day worked was October 19th. Contact tracing is taking place and those exposed will be notified. Further, we continue to follow the CDC Guidelines and report this information to all mandated agencies.

Because our Goldberg Healthcare staff continue to be tested prior to their shifts, we are fortunate to be able to identify positive cases immediately, which will help to stop the spread of the virus. It is for this reason that we ask all visitors to please take a rapid test upon their arrival, especially given the new variants that have been identified and the forewarning by the CDC to expect another COVID-19 surge this fall.

If you have a visit planned to any of our buildings on campus and are not feeling well, please postpone your visit and get tested. We must do everything possible to keep our residents and staff safe so please wear a mask around others and again, please take a rapid test when visiting our campus.

Residents, if you have any symptoms, concerns or questions please contact our staff at any time. If you do not feel well, please ask for a rapid test and stay safe.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Best regards,
