Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

November 20, 2020

Dear Residents and Family Members,

As our testing continues, last evening we learned that an Assisted Living resident has tested positive for COVID-19. The resident feels well and remains asymptomatic at this time.

We are all equally concerned and doing everything we can to mitigate the spread of this virus but we need your help. Our Assisted Living Community has been placed in quarantine which also means the Assisted Living Dining Room will now be closed.

While we will serve a beautiful Thanksgiving meal to our Assisted Living residents in their rooms on the holiday, we will plan to have an extra special Thanksgiving and Shabbat Celebration when quarantine ends on December 4th, assuming we have no new COVID-19 cases in AL.

At this time, all other residents will have their Thanksgiving meal in their respective dining rooms as previously scheduled.

Families, please follow every protocol set forth by Seacrest and do not come to the campus unless you are dropping something off at the front entrance. Residents, please do not leave the campus. Each time a resident leaves there is the possibility of bringing the virus back to the campus.

As we said in a recent letter, if Independent Living residents choose to leave the campus on Thanksgiving or for any gathering over the holidays, there will be a mandatory quarantine upon return. We cannot take any risks and we ask you to please not leave the campus.

I want to thank each of you for your continued patience, trust, and understanding. Do not hesitate to call me should you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
