This face may be unfamiliar to most of you, but to the residents of the Seacrest Village Joseph and Dorothy Goldberg Healthcare Center it is the face of co
mpassion, safety and support, and their spirits are lifted each time they see it.
Director of Nursing Nancy Strassner leads a team of front-line healthcare heroes, who, despite the risks, show up to work and perform tirelessly for those in their charge. Before Covid-19, her job was often stressful and all-consuming. During the pandemic, her responsibilities never end.
The San Diego Union-Tribune recently honored Nancy in the “Frontline Heroes in the Region” section! Thank you, Nancy, for your leadership, passion, and for doing everything you can to keep Seacrest’s residents and staff safe. This is a well-deserved recognition.
Seacrest staff who work with her wonder how she does it. They love her for her passion and commitment to the residents, and to each of them. They feel honored and blessed that she leads the Joseph and Dorothy Goldberg Healthcare Center team.
Seacrest stands by its mission to protect and keep each of the residents, clients, and staff safe, and they can only do that with your support.
In honor of Nancy, and all healthcare heroes, we ask you to consider a gift to support Seacrest Foundation’s Covid-19 Emergency Fund. Together we must recognize the need to support Seacrest’s frontline workers, and the frail and vulnerable residents who are counting on heroes like Nancy.

- Meals while at work to minimize the chance of exposure at grocery stores
- Frequent COVID-19 testing
