Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

May 26, 2022

Good afternoon, Seacrest Residents and Families,

Today we learned that a caregiver in the Dorothy & Joseph Goldberg Healthcare Center (skilled nursing) has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. The employee’s last day worked was May 25th. The employee is asymptomatic at this time and we hope that this stays the case. We are conducting contact tracing and will continue to follow the CDC Return to Work Guidelines and report this information to all mandated agencies.

For the immediate future all visitors to and staff in the Goldberg Healthcare Center will be required to wear N95 masks and shields to protect one another as well as our residents. We will not be having in room visits as we monitor the situation of cases in the general community.  We appreciate your patience and cooperation with this protective measure.

Although it appears that the current strain is less severe, the spread of the virus is highly contagious.  We can all do our part in protecting one another by wearing masks when around others and avoiding large crowds of people.

Please stay safe and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions.

Best regards,

Pam Ferris
