Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

May 25, 2022

Good afternoon, Seacrest Residents and Families,

Today we learned that one of our nurses in the Dorothy & Joseph Goldberg Healthcare Center (skilled nursing) has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. The employee’s last day worked was May 24th. Unfortunately, this employee is symptomatic, and we know you join us in wishing a full recovery. We are conducting contact tracing and will continue to follow the CDC Return to Work Guidelines and report this information to all mandated agencies.  For the immediate future all visitors to and staff in the Goldberg Healthcare Center will be required to wear N95 masks and shields to protect one another as well as our residents.

With the increased transmission in the state of California, the Health Service Advisory Group (HSAG) recommends that during a household infection, regardless of vaccination status, one should test every 3-5 days for a total of seventeen days.  As many transmissions occur between infected household members, if someone in your household is positive, please do not to visit our campus.

We continue to test all visitors and recommend that if you are experiencing any symptoms or live in a household with an infected member, take a rapid test as soon as possible.  If you are a resident living at Seacrest and are experiencing any symptoms, please notify your building director and immediately isolate. Please stay safe and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions.

Best regards,
