Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

March 31, 2023

Dear Residents, Families, and Associates,

I hope this finds you all well. This letter is to inform you of some recent changes Seacrest Village will be making in our COVID-19 protocols, based on the information we recently received from the Department of Public Health (DPH).
The new protocols explained below will take place effective April 3, 2023.

Access Cards: Local family members will be given the opportuntiy to have an access badge that will allow you to enter the specific building where your loved one resides. Family members visiting those in our Goldberg Healthcare Center here for short-term rehabilitation services will not receive access badges and need to enter our campus through the main entrance off Saxony Lane. If you are a local family member who is interested in receiving an access badge, please contact the director of the building your family member resides. Until such time you receive your access badge (processing could take 7-10 days) it will be necessary for all visitors to enter through our main entrance off Saxony Lane. We will no longer have a person in the Goldberg Healthcare Center lobby who, during the COVID-19 state of emergency, allowed visitors to gain access to that building and assist with check-in and testing.

Masks: Masks will continue to be a requirement for all employees, volunteers, and visitors. Masks are not required for residents, although we suggest they be worn in common areas.

COVID-19 Testing: Rapid antigen tests will be available for all symptomatic employees and residents, as well as for all new admissions, but will no longer be provided or requested of visitors, volunteers, or outside contractors. Please postpone your visit if you have cold or flu-like symptoms and know we would be happy to facilitate a zoom call with your loved one.

I want to thank our residents and families for their support and trust as we made and will continue to make the necessary decisions to protect the well-being of our entire community. I also want to express our sincere gratitude to each one of our employees who have worked so hard to protect our residents and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, and who continue to go above and beyond to serve our residents every day. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, and many thanks to everyone for your ongoing support.

Wishing those who celebrate Passover a Chag Pesach Sameach, and those who celebrate Easter, a very happy holiday too.
