Dear Residents and Families,

I hope this finds you well. I am sorry to share that we learned this afternoon one of our nurses in the Goldberg Healthcare Center tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The employee, whose last day worked was yesterday, has symptoms and we know you join us in wishing a speedy recovery. Contact tracing has begun and those exposed will be notified. We continue to report all positive cases to the applicable regulatory agencies and follow the CDC guidelines regarding staff returning to work.

While we still intend to reopen our campus this Monday for visitors who are vaccinated to come into the buildings, please let this be a reminder how important it is to wear masks and follow our visiting protocols. Unfortunately, the pandemic is not completely over. We will continue make decisions we believe are in the best interest of our residents and staff, and thank you in advance for your patience, cooperation and understanding.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions.

Best regards,

Pam Ferris
