Dear Residents and Families,

We are pleased to share with you that despite learning late yesterday that a nurse who works in our Assisted Living Residence tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, our residents in Assisted Living who recently tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, have now completed their quarantine and we will reopen our dining room this Friday March 3rd.

Further, we want to let you know that effective today, our communication protocol regarding positive COVID-19 cases on our campus has changed. Our new protocol will be as follows:

When a positive COVID-19 case for a resident is identified, the staff will receive a text message with this information. The staff will also receive a text message for positive COVID-19 cases for staff, contractors, and volunteers, if those individuals were on the campus within the past 14 days.

When a resident tests positive or is known to have been exposed for the COVID 19 virus, the staff will communicate with the resident, and if applicable, the staff will notify the family member on record for that resident.

Our voice messages, letters to residents, and e-blasts to those who have chosen to receive them, will no longer occur, unless there is a surge of resident cases that requires changes to our daily operations such as the temporary closing of a dining, the suspension of indoor visits, etc.  Instead, and to keep all constituents informed, each Monday there will be a COVID-19 Update on our website for your viewing. We encourage you to call if you have questions or concerns at any time.

At this time, we are still requesting that all visitors take a rapid test at the time of check-in, however, this recommendation may change in the future and if it does, we will advise.

Please know that when cases are reported, we will continue to conduct contact tracing, notify the various agencies as required, and follow the CDC quarantine and return to work guidelines.

Finally, on behalf of our entire Seacrest family, we greatly appreciate your on-going support as we continue to do all we can to keep our residents and staff safe. Please do not hesitate to call if you have questions.

Warm regards,
