Good afternoon, Residents and Families,
Today we learned that a resident in our Goldberg Healthcare Center (GHC) has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and is asymptomatic. In addition, a resident in Independent Living has also tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and is unfortunately experiencing symptoms at this time. We know you join us in wishing a speedy recovery. Both residents are in isolation currently, and we are conducting contact tracing. We continue to follow the CDC Guidelines for return to work and will report this information to all mandated agencies.
Please be mindful this weekend as cases are rapidly increasing in San Diego County. We must all do our part to keep our residents, staff, and one another safe. We strongly urge every resident who is able, to wear a mask when in the common areas on campus, as well as when in indoor public spaces.
