Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

June 22, 2022

Dear Residents and Family Members,

We are pleased to inform you that effective Friday, June 24th, visits will resume in all buildings, except in our Goldberg Healthcare Center, (GHC) where unfortunately, we still have residents with the COVID-19 virus and cannot allow visitors at this time. We expect the latest round of test results of our GHC residents will be known early next week and hope to be able to resume visits there too, by reservation only. We will send another letter as soon as all test results are received to provide further information.

We genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding as we have taken the time necessary to evaluate how widespread this virus is throughout our campus.
All visitors, volunteers, entertainers, and vendors must check in at the main entrance off Saxony Lane and take a rapid test before visiting. Reservations are not required, except for those visiting our Katzin Residence. To schedule visits for the Katzin Residence only, please log onto https://calendly.com/dpinto-3/30min.

The opportunity to Zoom with your loved one will still be available for those in our Goldberg Healthcare Center, or with residents who live in other buildings with friends or family members who are unable to visit.

While on the campus, surgical masks must be worn in all common areas. For the first time since the pandemic began, visitors are welcome to join residents in life enrichment programs and/or religious services, while masks are worn. Dining room guests are not allowed until further notice, although meals may be purchased from Mel’s and eaten outside, where masks are not required. Mel’s hours are from 10-2pm Monday through Friday.

We hope that everyone will continue to wear masks when off campus in public places, as well as to avoid large crowds, particularly during this recent surge in positive COVID-19 cases.

Again, on behalf of all of us at Seacrest, I want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate the pandemic.

Please feel free to reach out to your building director if you have questions.

Best regards,

Pam Ferris
