Good afternoon, Residents and Families,
Late yesterday we learned that a server in the Independent Living building has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and is unfortunately symptomatic. The employee’s last day of work was July 21st. In addition, today we learned that a Life Enrichment employee from the nursing home has also tested positive. The employee’s last day worked was July 21st. Contact tracing is taking place and we continue to follow the CDC Guidelines for return to work and will report this information to all mandated agencies.
Please be mindful as cases are still very high in San Diego County. We must all do our part to keep our residents, staff, and one another safe. We strongly urge every resident who is able to wear a mask when in the common areas on campus, as well as when in indoor public spaces.
