I am sorry to report that last evening we learned that a member of our administration team tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The employee last worked July 12 and is unfortunately symptomatic. Today we learned that one of our Assisted Living housekeepers has also tested positive. Fortunately, this employee is asymptomatic for which we are grateful. This employee last worked on July 14. Today we also learned that a resident in our Independent Living community has tested positive and is unfortunately symptomatic. Please join us in wishing these individuals, as well as all staff who are now home with the virus a speedy recovery.
We have conducted contract tracing and those exposed were notified. In addition, we continue to report all positive cases to the applicable regulatory agencies and follow the CDC guidelines regarding staff returning to work.
