Good afternoon Seacrest Family,

We hope you are having a restful weekend.

As you know, we are continually testing all residents and staff on a monthly basis. Through this effort, I am writing to share that we now have an additional employee in our Katzin Residence (Memory Care) who has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Our testing program and contact tracing will continue, and I can assure you that we are taking every measure possible to protect our residents and staff.

As we have previously shared, we will continue to follow the “Criteria for Return to Work for Health Care Personnel with Confirmed or Suspected COVID-19” guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

This new positive test result reminds us that we as a Seacrest community are not in any way free of the need to continue, and even enhance, our strict practices.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to restrict all visits to the Seacrest community. Those who visit the campus for any other reason than to drop off items at our main entrance (Saxony Ln.) will be asked to leave the campus. This is not a time to visit your family member; there is just no room for risk. We know how difficult this is, we truly do, and continue to ask for your patience and cooperation as we go through this unsettling time together.

Going forward, we will be providing regular updates by way of our voice messaging system, emails, and printed letters so that we can keep you as informed as possible. Please rest assured, if a situation directly impacts you, you will be contacted immediately.

I want to thank each of you for your continued trust and understanding.

Do not hesitate to call me should you have any questions.

Sincerely,
