Good afternoon, Residents and Families,
Last evening we learned that another member of our culinary team tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The individual last worked July 7th. Today we learned that one of our Assisted Living residents tested positive for the COVID-19 virus while in the emergency room. The resident will be in isolation upon return. Unfortunately, both the team member and the resident are symptomatic, and we know you join us in wishing them full and speedy recoveries.
Contact tracing began immediately, and those exposed were notified. Because the staff person works in the main kitchen, there was no resident contact. We continue to report all positive cases to the applicable regulatory agencies and follow the CDC guidelines regarding staff returning to work.
We appreciate your ongoing patience and share your concern about this most contagious variant. Please be careful, and do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions.
