January 18, 2022

Dear Residents and Families,

Today we learned of two employees who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. One is a caregiver in our Assisted Living Residence who last worked January 15th, and the other is a caregiver in our Goldberg Healthcare Center who last worked January 17th. Both are symptomatic and we wish then a speedy recovery. Contact tracing was conducted and those exposed will be notified. We continue to report all positive cases to the applicable regulatory agencies and follow the CDC guidelines regarding staff returning to work.

We are pleased that many of our staff who tested positive are now back to work and feeling better. I know you join me in thanking our dedicated Seacrest Heroes who continue to work many additional hours to cover for those who are home recuperating. I also want to thank those who so graciously gave to our COVID HEROES FUND so that we can continue to do nice things to express our immense gratitude to our HEROES. Tomorrow we will be providing “Jersey Mike” Sandwiches to our staff and last week, we provided Board and Brew sandwiches and challahs to take home and share with their families. For those interested in contributing to this fund, please click on www.seacrestfoundation.org. or send a check payable to Seacrest Foundation with COVID HEROES FUND on the memo line.

Thankfully in the past week we have seen a decrease in positive COVID-19 cases and hope this is an indication that the Omicron surge is coming to an end. We will continue to monitor the situation and make operational changes as necessary to support the safety and well being of our residents and staff.

Again, thank you for your ongoing support. We will get through this together.

With much gratitude,

Pam Ferris
