Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

January 13, 2021

Dear Seacrest Residents, Family Members, and Associates,

Today we received test results and three more of our Katzin residents and one additional Katzin Life Enrichment employee have now tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. In addition, a Seacrest at Home employee has also tested positive. All families have already been notified and the staff has been made aware.

As we always share, we will continue to follow the “Criteria for Return to Work for Health Care Personnel with Confirmed or Suspected COVID-19” guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

I am pleased to share that Independent Living is now out of quarantine as all residents and staff have tested negative for a second time. The Fitness Center will open, and small group activities will resume, though the dining room will remain closed until additional testing is conducted.

As a reminder:

  • Wear the appropriate PPE (mask/shield/gown).
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and use hand sanitizer.
  • Social distance and stay home as much as possible when not at work.
  • Self-isolate if showing any signs of COVID-19.
  • Seek medical assistance as necessary.

We are doing everything we possibly can to mitigate the spread of the virus on our Seacrest campus. Family members, we care about you too, and suggest that you follow the Governor’s Stay at Home orders as much as possible. We are staying strong and supporting one another and are here to support our family members as well. We ask that everyone keep our residents and staff in their thoughts as this is a very difficult time for our Seacrest Family.

Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
