Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

January 11, 2021

Dear Seacrest Residents, Family Members, and Associates,

Last evening we received notification that one of our Culinary employees has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. This employee was last on campus on January 4, 2021.

As we always share, we will continue to follow the “Criteria for Return to Work for Health Care Personnel with Confirmed or Suspected COVID-19” guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The next few weeks will be the most dangerous due to the recent holidays and the choices people make regarding gathering with those outside of their immediate household.

Please remember:

  • Wear the appropriate PPE (mask/shield/gown).
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and use hand sanitizer.
  • Social distance and stay home as much as possible when not at work.
  • Self-isolate if showing any signs of COVID-19.
  • Seek medical assistance as necessary.

We are doing everything we possibly can to mitigate the spread of the virus on our beautiful Seacrest Campus. We know that you are all concerned, though we ask that you limit your calls to the staff unless necessary. We have only one goal and that is to keep your family members protected and safe and this means that we need all staff available at this important time. We will be communicating with you regularly. In the meanwhile, we ask that you keep our residents and staff in your thoughts as this is a very difficult time for our Seacrest Family.

We appreciate everyone’s support.

Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
