Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

February 3, 2022

Dear Residents, Families, and Associates,

I would like to begin by thanking everyone for their ongoing patience and support as we have been dealing with the latest surge of the COVID-19 virus. The decisions on how we operate and the protocols we establish are made based on the positive daily cases we are experiencing at Seacrest as well as the daily cases in San Diego and around the country. We are extremely encouraged to learn that new cases of COVID-19 in the US and the county have dropped in half in the last two weeks. We know how hard this has been on everyone.

Considering this information, I am pleased to share that our Independent Living and Assisted Living dining rooms are scheduled to reopen on Monday February 14th.  Meal tray delivery fees will resume this same day.

As a reminder, the dining room hours of operation are as follows:

Independent Living

Breakfast 7am to 9am          Lunch 11:30am to 1:00pm        Dinner 4:30pm to 6:00pm

Assisted Living

Breakfast 8am to 9am          Lunch 11:30am to 12:30pm      Dinner 4:30pm to 5:30pm

As indicated in last Friday’s letter, we are also working on how and when to resume our visiting program, and that information will be forthcoming as details are finalized.

Please also be reminded that our mask mandate is still in place. Residents, please continue to wear them when opening your door to receive your meal or whenever you are in the common areas. We ask that you maintain social distance when outside and most definitely encourage you to take advantage of our beautiful weather.

Lastly, I want to again thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to experience this unprecedented journey together. We are excited that you will be able to enjoy dining with your friends once again, and hope in the coming weeks, life at Seacrest can return to a greater sense of normalcy as we continue to weigh the risks and benefits of our daily programing and interfacing with the greater community.

Stay well everyone. With much gratitude,
