Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

February 1, 2022

Dear Residents, Families, and Associates,

I must begin by again thanking those of you who have made a gift to Seacrest Foundation for our COVID HEROES FUND. We cannot thank you enough for this support as we continue to protect one another and do nice things for our staff.

Tomorrow we will be bringing in sandwiches from Ike’s Del Mar for every employee! The staff are really looking forward to it.

Many people have been asking so I want to share that you can support the COVID HEROES FUND on our website at www.seacrestfoundation.org or simply mail your gift to Seacrest Foundation.

Thank you for helping to make the days a little brighter for our staff who are on the front line; they are truly heroes in every sense of the word.

Residents, during this extended precautionary period we encourage you to continue spending time outside. Please remember to stay socially distanced and wear masks. We also want you to know that we are evaluating the timing for the reopening of the Independent Living and Assisted Living dining rooms as well as how and when visits will resume, and we will share details with you shortly.

Today, unfortunately we have one new case to share with you. A member of our Goldberg Healthcare Center nursing team, who was last on campus on January 28, 2022, is experiencing symptoms and is now home isolating. We have conducted contact tracing and notified anyone who may have been exposed. We have also contacted all mandated agencies. We continue to follow CDC guidelines for returning to work.

To all our staff and residents who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and are experiencing symptoms, we send healing thoughts for a full and complete recovery. And to those staff who have recovered and are now back to work we are so happy to have you back!

Most Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
