Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

December 5, 2020

Good Morning Seacrest Residents and Family Members,

This morning both a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in our Goldberg Healthcare Center and a Culinary employee, whose primary responsibility is in the Goldberg Healthcare Center, have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Both are doing well; we hope it remains this way. We have begun contact tracing and if you were exposed, we will be in touch with you as soon as possible. At this point the Goldberg Healthcare Center is in quarantine.

As many have asked, please know that our Goldberg Healthcare Center CNA remains in the ICU and we ask for your continued prayers and good thoughts.

I do want to let you know that all testing of residents and staff that has been conducted over the past several days has resulted in negatives, with the exception of those we write about. For this we are grateful.

As I have previously said, the entire Seacrest staff is concerned, and we are doing everything we can to mitigate the spread of this virus.

This is a reminder that the Independent Living Community remains in quarantine. Residents must wear masks when food is delivered, and all activities remain cancelled. The fitness center, beauty salon, and dining rooms are closed. Residents can leave apartments for short walks, taking out trash, and going to the mailroom. Under no circumstances should residents be in one another’s apartments and we ask that you remain six feet apart if you cross paths in the building. Please take no chances at this time as the virus is clearly spreading and we need your help.

Now is the time for each of us to be mindful of everything stated in this letter. Independent Living Residents please stay in your apartments with the exceptions above.

If you need anything, please ask your building managers. We are here for all of you.

Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
