Dear Residents and Families,

Today we learned that a caregiver who works in our Assisted Living Residence tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The employee’s last day worked was December 28th.

Contact tracing has been done and those exposed have been contacted.

All positive COVID-19 cases are reported to the County of San Diego as required, and if applicable, also the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) or the Department of Social Services (DSS).

We are extremely grateful for the overwhelming amount of support we’ve received since instituting our two week precautionary period. In fact, one resident had this poem outside her apartment door when the staff came to deliver her meal today. Roses are red, violets are blue,Once again, culinary comes through,Not a meal was missed, and on very short notice, Modifications completed, you really showed us! Complaints that we’ve made are all but forgotten, When we hear “squeaky” wheels, with food in a carton!COVID won’t beat us, we have determination, And thank you Seacrest, for protecting your population.

From our Seacrest family to yours, we wish you good health, happiness and peace in the coming year.

Stay safe everyone,
