Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

December 30, 2021

Dear Residents and Families,

I am writing to provide you with today’s update. Today we learned that three individuals have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

  • Last evening, we learned that a member of our culinary Department tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The employee’s last day worked was December 28, 2021.
  • In addition, a private-duty caregiver—who is not on the Seacrest staff and was serving a resident in our Assisted Living Residence—has tested positive. The last day this person was on the Seacrest campus was December 29, 2021.
  • And a member of our maintenance team has also tested positive. The employee’s last day worked was December 19, 2021.

Contact tracing has been done and staff and residents who may have been exposed have been notified. Two of the three individuals are experiencing symptoms and we know you join us in wishing them a speedy recovery.

I would like to acknowledge and thank our residents for their tremendous resilience and patience. We know this is not an easy time; yet you are handling it with much positivity and grace. We are here if you need anything, so please reach out to your building director for assistance.

These daily cases are a reminder of how fast this virus is spreading. Please be safe, especially over the holiday weekend.

Best wishes to you and yours for a safe and healthy 2022.
