December 3, 2022

Good afternoon, Residents and Families,

Today we learned that a resident in our Goldberg Healthcare Center has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The resident is now in isolation, and we are testing staff and residents. Contact tracing is taking place and those exposed will be notified. We continue to follow the CDC Guidelines and report this information to all mandated agencies.

The CDC is expecting another surge of COVID-19 cases along with the flu and RSV. Please continue to wear a mask around others, avoid large crowds, and take a rapid test when visiting our campus. As we approach the December holidays, it is especially important to do everything we can to keep our residents and staff safe. Despite no mask mandate, (except when on our campus) we strongly encourage you to wear masks when inside public spaces and to avoid large crowds.

Families, we can’t stress enough the importance of postponing your visit if you don’t feel well, have symptoms, or have been exposed to others who are sick. If this is the case, we would be happy to facilitate a zoom call with your loved one instead of an in-person visit.

Residents, if you have any symptoms, concerns, or questions, please contact our staff at any time. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Together, we can hopefully prevent more positive cases and stop the spread of the virus.

Best regards,
