December 28, 2022

Good afternoon, Residents and Families,

Today we learned that an employee who works in our Building Services Department and who primarily works in our Independent Living Residence Building A, tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The last day this employee worked was December 28.

In addition, we had an outside contractor who worked in our Katzin Residence also test positive. This individual’s last day worked was December 27. Contact tracing has taken place and those exposed were notified. Per our protocols, all residents in the Katzin Residence will receive a rapid test tomorrow. We continue to follow the CDC Guidelines for return to work. In addition, we will report this information to all mandated agencies.

We are aware that COVID fatigue is real and people are tired. So rather than include in today’s letter reminders about how to best protect yourselves, I will share important information published today in the Argentum Daily, a news outlet for senior living professionals.

As we are experiencing our own surge in positive COVID-19 cases at Seacrest, it is especially critical that we all do our part to stay safe. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us. And residents, if you develop any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, please notify us and we will have you take a rapid test right away.

Thank you again everyone.
Stay well,
