Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081
December 20, 2021

Hello Seacrest Residents and Family Members,

Today we received notification that one of our culinary employees has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. This employee was last on our Seacrest campus yesterday, December 19, 2021. We have reported this new case to the Department of Health as mandated, and the employee is at home in quarantine. Unfortunately, our employee is not feeling well; we ask you to join us in wishing a speedy recovery.

While we had hoped that this past weekend’s communication would not be the beginning of new cases, we are learning that we should expect that there will be more and that this may indeed be a challenging winter. We remain hopeful but are asking for everyone’s full cooperation.

Residents, if you are going out of the building, please wear a mask. If you are going to someone’s home, please make sure they are vaccinated. Anywhere we go we risk bringing this virus back to the hundreds of people living and working at Seacrest. We want you to know that the entire Seacrest staff is concerned, and we are doing everything we can to mitigate the spread of this virus. However, we need your cooperation.

Our best defense at this point is for all of us to wear masks, socially distance, and be fully vaccinated.

Now is the time for each of us to increase awareness and efforts.

Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
