Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

December 14, 2020

Good afternoon Seacrest Residents and Family Members,

I am pleased to share that all residents in our Goldberg Health Care Center have been tested twice in the past week and all have tested negative each time. Despite that good news, I also need to share that we learned late last evening a member of our Culinary team, who primarily works in our Goldberg Health Care Center, has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Although this employee did work yesterday, we believe through contact tracing, there was no close resident contact.

As we have previously shared, we will continue to follow the “Criteria for Return to Work for Health Care Personnel with Confirmed or Suspected COVID-19” guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We are in the initial stage of preparations for the vaccination and we will keep you informed as we have more information. Our Building Directors will be speaking with residents, and/or responsible parties to discuss whether the vaccine is desired, and if so, what the required information is that we will need prior to the resident receiving the vaccine.

If you need anything or have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.

Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
President and CEO
