Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

December 10, 2020

Good afternoon Seacrest Residents and Family Members,

To begin, I would like to wish you a happy and healthy Chanukkah. While things may look different this year, we all share one thing in common, which is that we have the well being of one another at the forefront of everything we are doing.

This morning brings us two cases to share with you. We have been notified that an employee from Elizabeth Hospice has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. This person was last on our Seacrest Campus, in our Goldberg Healthcare Center, on December 2, 2020.

In addition, a member of our Seacrest culinary team, whose primary responsibilities are in our Goldberg Healthcare Center, has tested positive. The employee was on campus today and has been sent home.

While we believe exposure has been minimal in both cases, we are currently contact tracing and testing. As always, you will be notified if you have had any exposure.

We know that you join us in sending both of these individuals well wishes for an uneventful time with this virus. Additionally, I want to tell you that our Goldberg Healthcare Center employee, who has been in the ICU, has returned home to his family.

With the Governor’s recent stay-at-home orders, we hope everyone has a heightened sense of how serious and widespread this virus is.

We are making preparations for vaccinations; we will keep you informed as we have more information.

If you need anything, please ask your building managers. We are here for all of you.

Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
