Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

August 8, 2021

Dear Residents, Families, and Associates,

I am writing to inform you that this morning an employee in our Assisted Living Residence tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The employee was last on campus Friday, August 6, 2021. Through contact tracing, we have determined that all Assisted Living residents and staff were potentially exposed. This employee is fully vaccinated.

Therefore, only in our Assisted Living Residence, effective immediately, there will be no visitors allowed, the dining room will be closed and there will be no group activities. Meal delivery to residents will begin at noon today.

As a reminder, our Goldberg Healthcare Center (skilled nursing) remains in quarantine and visitors are not allowed in that building either. We hope the quarantine in Goldberg Healthcare Center will be lifted Tuesday, and, if so, another letter will follow with revised visiting protocols based upon the Governor’s recent order.

We want to reiterate that we continue to follow the “Criteria for Return to Work for Health Care Personnel with Confirmed or Suspected COVID-19” guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Your continued patience and cooperation are most appreciated. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your building director.

Sincerely,

Pam Ferris
