Good afternoon Seacrest Family –

Today we are writing to share the good news that both our Leichtag Family Assisted Living Residence and our Katzin Residence are no longer in quarantine. If you recall, the AL quarantine was due to a caregiver who had tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, and in Katzin, a server tested positive to COVID-19. As of today, all residents and staff who work in those buildings have tested negative.

In our IL Residence, we are taking precautionary measures until September 7th to ensure the residents are free of COVID-19 after being potentially exposed to a different server who tested positive August 20th to COVID-19. Testing of residents will occur today and Friday this week, and again next week on the same days. We will notify everyone after the second round of test results are in, unless after the first test, there are any new positive cases. If that is the case, you will be notified immediately.

Please be reminded too, that we continue to follow all guidance set forth for privacy, patient care, employee safety, and efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 as provided by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). We also continue to stay abreast of regulations, requirements and recommendations from the County of SD, CDPH, CMS and the Centers for Disease Control, (CDC) as they are frequently revised. As we have shared previously, we also have our own stringent protocols, and are adamant about being risk averse when it comes to each of you.

I want to thank each of you for your continued patience and understanding. You will hear more from us next week as plans to resume our visiting program once again, are underway.

We’re all in this together and need to stay healthy.
