Dear Residents, Families, and Associates,

This morning we learned that a nurse, who works in our Goldberg Healthcare Center, has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The employee was last on campus Sunday April 24th. Unfortunately, the employee is symptomatic, and we hope will have a full and complete recovery. We are conducting contact tracing and will notify those who may have been exposed. We will also contact all mandated agencies.

I would like to remind everyone that we have scheduled a Booster Clinic for those eligible on Wednesday May 4th. I know that many of you have already scheduled your appointment. For residents who have not, please see your building director. For associates, please contact Human Resources.

We recognize that residents from all our buildings may congregate on the AVS Patio, and to mitigate the spread of the virus from one building to another, we need for residents, during this time, to use the patios outside their respective buildings. The Assisted Living residents should use either the patio just outside their entrance door or the patio near the main entrance of the campus.

Please know we are doing everything we can to protect everyone, and nothing is more important than your health and safety.

Best regards,

Pam Ferris
