Dear Residents, Families, and Associates,
This morning we learned that another Assisted Living resident, who is currently in the hospital, has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. In addition, this morning one of our associates who works in Transportation Services, has also tested positive. The employee was last on campus this morning and is now home, and we hope will have a full and complete recovery. We are conducting contact tracing and will notify those who may have been exposed. We will also contact all mandated agencies.
We recognize that Independent and Assisted Living residents congregate on the AVS Patio, and to mitigate the spread of the virus from one building to another, Assisted Living residents must stay in the immediate outside area of their building.
We understand that you may be concerned with the increase in COVID-19 cases on our campus. Please know we are doing everything we can to protect everyone, and nothing is more important than your health and safety.
