Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

April 23, 2022

Dear Residents, Families, and Associates,

This morning we learned that two more Assisted Living residents have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. We are conducting contact tracing and will notify those who may have been exposed. We will also contact all mandated agencies. The residents are symptomatic at present time, and we know you join us in wishing them a speedy recovery.

At this time, we find it necessary to close the Assisted Living (AL) dining room and suspend all indoor visits to our Assisted Living Residence until we have completed further testing of both residents and staff to understand how widespread this might be.

As I stated yesterday, it is up to all of us to work together to keep our residents and staff safe and suspending indoor visits to our AL residents and closing the AL dining room is the safest course of action at this time. While visits to our AL residents are discouraged until we get through this outbreak, outdoor visits will be allowed on our AVS patio once visitors are tested at our main entrance, as is our current protocol.

On a positive note, we are pleased to share that all our residents and staff tested negative in our Goldberg Healthcare Center and as such, we will resume visits to that building this Monday, April 25th. Please schedule visits by emailing visitations@seacrestvillage.org.

We strongly encourage everyone to wear masks, avoid large crowds, and wash hands often. We are taking this very seriously and are doing our best to protect everyone. We appreciate your understanding. Please contact your building director if you have any questions. Thank you for your on-going support.

Best regards,
