Dear Residents, Families, and Associates, (second letter today)
This afternoon we learned that a resident in our Independent Living Residence has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. We are conducting contact tracing and will notify those who may have been exposed. We will also contact all mandated agencies. The resident is symptomatic at present time, and we know you join us in wishing a speedy recovery.
We recognize that some Independent and Assisted Living residents congregate on the AVS Patio, and to mitigate the spread of the virus from one building to another, Assisted Living residents must stay in the immediate outside area of their building.
We understand that many of you may be concerned with the increase in COVID-19 cases on our campus. Please know we are doing everything we can to protect everyone, and nothing is more important your health and safety.
