Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

April 21, 2020

Dear Residents and Families,

You may have already learned that effective yesterday, we are asking residents to wear masks when they leave their apartments. In addition, we will begin taking their temperatures once a day.

While we were unsure of how residents would respond, we were so grateful for the underlying message of “thank you for doing everything you are doing to keep us safe.”  Indeed, that is our goal and has been throughout this entire ordeal!

Please know that at this time there are still no known cases of COVID-19 on our campus. This decision to issue masks and take temperatures was made as the incidence rate in San Diego is rising and we want to take every precaution to take care of our residents.

We apologize that you are receiving this communication after we began distributing masks to you, our residents. We are working as quickly and efficiently as possible to take care of you. We are also requesting that you not only wear your mask when outside your apartment, but that you strictly adhere to social distancing guidelines and remain at least 6 feet apart from others while on the patio or walking around the campus.

We know that parts of the country are starting to relax a bit in their effort to avoid the virus, we strongly believe this would be a terrible mistake for Seacrest. We pray that everyone will continue to do what we are asking so that you, your neighbors, and our entire Seacrest community can get through this successfully without anyone becoming ill.

Please feel free to call if you would like to discuss this further; I would be happy to speak with you. For now, please stay well, wash your hands frequently, and stay positive. We will get through this together!

With tremendous gratitude for hanging in there with us,
