Dear Residents and Families,

I am writing to share that today a resident, who lives in our Assisted Living Residence, tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Contact tracing has occurred and those who may have been exposed were notified. We have also contacted all mandated agencies. As the resident is symptomatic, we know you join us in wishing a speedy recovery.

This latest case means we now have three residents on our campus with the COVID-19 virus (one in our Independent Living Residence, one resident in our Goldberg Healthcare Center, and one in our Assisted Living Residence), and is a sign that the COVID-19 virus is on the rise.

It is up to all of us to do our absolute best to keep our residents and staff safe. If we do, we will be able to keep our campus open to visitors and the dining rooms open for our residents and their guests, which is what we all want.

While there are currently no mask mandates in public buildings, and now unfortunately, even on domestic flights, we believe masks help greatly, to stop the spread of the virus. It is for this reason that we continue to encourage everyone to wear them, and hope that with all of us working together, we will be able to continue our current protocols and avoid another shutdown. In fact, we hope visits to our Goldberg Healthcare Center will resume next week once all test results are returned and are negative.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to respond quickly to any new developments in our effort to keep our residents and staff safe. Please contact your building director if you have any questions and thank you for your on-going support.

Best regards,
