Dear Residents, Families, and Associates,
We learned late yesterday that a Seacrest at Home caregiver tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The employee last worked on our Seacrest campus March 25th, serving a resident who resides in independent living. Unfortunately, the employee is experiencing symptoms and we know you join us in wishing a speedy recovery.
We have conducted contact tracing and informed those who were exposed. In addition, we report all positive test results to the mandated agencies and follow the CDC return to work guidelines.
We also want to share with you that since the FDA approved another booster shot for those 50 and over, we are working with our pharmacy to schedule a Booster Clinic on site, so that our residents and staff over 50 will be able to receive the latest booster available. We will inform you once the date is secured.
Please be careful everyone. These cases and the spike in cases in San Diego County, are a reminder that the pandemic is not over. Please continue to wear masks, socially distance, and avoid large crowds. These simple precautions can help to mitigate the spread of the virus.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Best regards,
Pam Ferris
