Seacrest Village: (760) 632-0081

April 16, 2020

Dear Residents and Families,

I hope you are all well and have been enjoying the Passover holiday. I want to thank Rabbi Leah and our wonderful Culinary Team for making the Seacrest Seders so beautiful for our residents and for those who joined us through our livestream channel.

The following are some important things for you to know:

  • There will be a planned power outage this Friday, April 17th during business hours. This is necessary as part of our construction project, and inspectors will be here to monitor this effort. Please know if you have phones and/or computers plugged in, they will not work during the outage.
  • Seacrest still has no known cases of the COVID-19 virus. A tremendous thanks to everyone for doing your part to self-quarantine and following the protocols established. All staff have been issued reusable masks and will be wearing them at all times when in resident areas.
  • I am pleased to share that our ZOOM/FaceTime/Skype program has been very well received. This is a wonderful opportunity to stay connected to your loved ones! Residents need not have a computer or iPad, as we were able to purchase additional devices for this important program due to the generosity of those who participated in the Seacrest Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Fund Campaign. If you would like to schedule a time to connect, please email Wendy Vurik at wvurik@seacrestvillage.org.

Lastly, the information in this letter will be shown on channel 1390 throughout campus and on channel 70 for the residents of Goldberg Healthcare Center. If others are interested, please click here.

Again, thank you for your tremendous support as we all work together to stay happy and healthy during this most difficult time.

Warmly,

Pam Ferris
